Kaz
January marked the end of OT! His fine motor skills have come so far and while there's still work to be done, at this point, we got this. We've learned a lot and just like any parent we continue to learn new and fun facts about our little human beings everyday. To quote their Oma, "Just when you think you've got it all figured out, they change."
With Kaz it's also about allowing him an escape route. So we created a quiet corner just for him for when the world gets a little too loud, bright, or fast. Daddy is quite fond of it as well. Doesn't it look comfy? Zane
Once we returned from our glorious wonderfully loud Winter wonderland vacation it was time to settle back into the everyday norm. This was unsettling for my louder, faster, go Go GOOOOO little dude. So what's an ever ready energizer bunny to do? Push his momma to her patience limits by testing, baiting, and smirking his way into trying to get what he wants. This poster was my sanity's salvation. My mantra if you will. A reminder to channel that energy/my reaction in a much more positive loving way because it is AB-SO-lutely true. I think I should have it made into a t-shirt for him to wear in 7 different colors for each day of the week.

Nothing a good makeover can't solve!"

"Who needs a ride Karen when you've got a skateboard? Watching my husband pull out his childhood skateboard to go and pick up the car at the shop makes me think, hmm maybe he would have had a chance with me in high school."
